MUNICIPAL ORDER #1-2010

A MUNICIPAL ORDER RELATING TO

THE APPROVAL OF THE TWO-YEAR

EXTENSION OPTION TO THE CITY’S GARBAGE CONTRACT

            WHEREAS, in 2007, the City publicly advertised for bids for the service of garbage collection within the City.  That bidding process was for a three year contract, with an option to renew for an additional two-year term.  The wining bidder was Industrial Disposal, Co.

AND WHEREAS, the initial three year term of the contract will end on the 30^th day of June, 2010 and the City of Pewee Valley and Industrial Disposal desire to extend the term for the two year option requested in the public bid and contract,

BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PEWEE VALLEY:

Section 1.        That upon the payment terms set out in the attached Exhibit One, the two year option to extend the September 7^th, 2007 contract between the City of Pewee Valley and Republic Services of KY, LLC, dba Industrial Disposal Co., be and hereby is approved by the City of Pewee Valley.  The two year renewal term commence July 1^st, 2010.  All other terms and conditions of the September 7^th, 2007 contract between the parties remains the same.
